CAST is a not-for-profit education research
and development organization that aims to make education more
flexible and accessible for all students, especially those with
disabilities, by designing instructional methods and materials
according to Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Every Student (TES)
Teaching Every Student (TES) is an interactive
Web site that provides educators with a comprehensive presentation
of the principles and applications of Universal Design for Learning
(UDL). This includes multimedia examples of UDL, as well as
a number of interactive tutorials, tools and templates. The
complete text of the companion book Teaching Every Student in
the Digital Age: Universal Design for Learning by David H. Rose
and Anne Meyer (ASCD, 2002) is also available.
- National
Center on Accessing the General Curriculum (NCAC)
The National Center on Accessing the
General Curriculum (NCAC) was established with the support of
the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education
Programs (OSEP) to improve access, participation and progress
within the general curriculum for students with disabilities
through Universal Design for Learning, advanced teaching practices,
education policy, and consensus building. The NCAC site offers
a wealth of resources including case stories, literature reviews,
and examples of best classroom practices.
