Activity 2 ~~ PowerPoint Presentation (35 minutes)

Objective: Identify essential characteristics of fluency and ways to foster it in the classroom.

Activity: View the PowerPoint Presentation entitled "Fluency: What Is It and Why Is It Important?".

Context: This brief overview of fluency presents the essential characteristics of fluency and six ways to foster fluency in the classroom.

For Further Consideration: After viewing the fluency PowerPoint presentation, identify a technique for fluency that is new to you. Try it with a group of students, and then think about changes you would make the next time you implemented the technique.
