   Overview for Session 4

 

 

In this session, you will learn about expository children's books, become familiar with methods for completing ongoing assessments, and learn how to take and analyze a Running Record—an informal procedure for assessing oral fluency.


Before you begin Activity 1, please be sure to review the other four activities in this session—both to give yourself a sense of the time necessary to complete the session and to gain some context on the intended outcomes associated with each activity.
