Try this relationship building process..

Do the leaders’ work?

Look at your school safety program and begin by asking others who are closest to the issues to help you define what is it that needs to be done or changed?

Determine the five most important things that need to be changed as a result of your research. Assume nothing. Proceed with an open mind. When those five things are determined, pick one, that is not the most difficult and work to make that change. It is more important to build faith in the process. Be inclusive by keeping the dialogue moving. Keep a consistent focus on your efforts.
