Natural Access Control

Natural access control is the capacity to limit who can gain entry to a facility, and how.

A school with dozens of unsecured and poorly labeled exterior doors cannot hope to control comings and goings. Intruders have free rein, and schools must rely on other security measures. Without natural access control, a much greater emphasis must be placed on surveillance, territoriality, school climate, and relying on security to step in and compensate.
