Relevant Audiences:
Law enforcement agencies and teachers should use this tutorial as
part of their basic
approach for writing a grant to obtain funding to support school
safety initiatives.
Primary Audience: School teachers
Secondary Audience: Law Enforcement Agencies
Collaboration with other Audiences: The pretext for this
tutorial is centered on collaboration and strategic alliances among multiple
audiences. The goal is to develop a suitable mix of talents, skills
and resources that can be combined into an entity capable of answering
or responding to the requirements of the grant solicitations.
Other audiences might include: child care
organizations, former gang member organizations working with
law enforcement, mediation and self esteem training organizations, emergency
response organizations, citizen groups, and retired professionals organizations.
