Promoting School Safety Through School Leadership: The Four Ps

Develop a Debriefing Plan to be Implemented after a Crisis has Occured:

Learning Strategy

  • Plan a debriefing outline for your audience should a crisis occur.
  • Determine which situations would warrant a debriefing, i.e. any loss of life or limb, kidnapping, medical emergency, sexual assault and others that have resulted in a major disruption of the school.
  • Plan a “generic” debriefing outline for your audience should a crisis occur.
