Felicity Ross divides her time between curriculum development and teacher training efforts. She is a part-time graduate instructor of education at Johns Hopkins University. She has written lesson plans for and served as a presenter at a variety of Maryland Public Television sponsored teacher institutes. She also works as a mentor for a group of first and second year Teach For America mathematics teachers. Felicity Ross taught middle school math for nine years in the Baltimore City Public School System. In the spring of 2003, Ross achieved National Board Certification in the area of adolescent mathematics. In 2000, she was named Maryland’s Presidential Awardee for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in the area of secondary mathematics. Felicity Ross has been involved in a variety of educational initiatives involving technology including participation on the Maryland Advance Team, a part of the Star Schools Project and Maryland Digital Schools. Felicity completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan
earning a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and psychology. She
was awarded a Masters Degree of Clinical Psychology at Loyola College in
Baltimore.
