Some kids wonder how they can help others who are being bullied. Sometimes kids are afraid to get involved for fear that they will become bullied as well. It is difficult to know what to do, but students who are leaders in their school community have a responsibility to try to help those in need. To learn what you can do if a friend or peer is the victim of bulling read the document How Can I Protect Myself or My Peers from Bullying .

Follow-Up Activity:
  Have I seen another student being bullied? What should I do about it now? Should someone know about the incident? What can I do to protect myself and others from bullies in the future?
