The Project Builder can be accessed at http://cte.jhu.edu/projectbuilder/.

Login using your username and password.

The Gateway screen will appear after you login. All TechTour lesson plans you create will appear at the Gateway. You will notice that these lesson items will be listed in various forms of completion from Incomplete Items, Completed Items, Items Awaiting Review, and Reviewed Items.

To develop a TechTour with lesson plan, select the Create Eight Step TechTour and Lesson Plan

In the next screen will provide an empty TechTour and lesson plan form. The navigational buttons are blue and orange buttons along the top and left sides of the page. There are several stages to creating a TechTour and its associated lesson plan. These navigational buttons will allow you to skip ahead or come back to a stage that was not completed earlier.

	Until you complete Stage 1, you will not be able to move ahead to other stages. The Project Builder requires the Title, Team Category and Team Key Questions. You will also notice that some data fields are contingent on previous fields. For example, you cannot identify Team Category Links in Stage 2A until you identify the Team Category in Stage 1A.

Contextual Help

The button is available beside most steps of the builder to provide you with contextual help information. Use this button for more specific guidance as well as examples of information required for a particular field.

Logging-Out

SAVE YOUR WORK!! Continue to click the Save and Proceed button or none of your work will be saved.

When you are finished using the Project Builder, you should log out. This is particularly important if you are sharing a computer with other teachers, students, or family.

	The Project Builder will automatically log you out after one hour of no activity.

Select the Logout link at the top right corner of the page.
