Stage 8 - Teacher Reflection

Overview

Image Map

This step is often completed after conducting the lesson with your students.

In this final stage of the Project Builder, type a post-observation of your lesson.

As a reflective practitioner, note how this lesson could be adjusted after its initial implementation.

  • How successful were the students?
  • What did the assessment demonstrate about the students’ learning?
  • What skills do the students need to revisit?
  • What instructional strategies worked and what made them successful?
  • What will you change the next time you use this lesson? Why?

Once you are finished, select the Save & Exit button to return to the Gateway, or select the Request Approval button.

If you select the Save & Exit button, the TechTour will not be submitted for sharing with other teachers. It will appear in your Gateway in the Incomplete Items, but no one else will be able to see it or use it.

If you select Request Approval, the TechTour will be assessed for inclusion in the Project Builder. There is no guarantee that your TechTour will be included the first time it is submitted, but you will receive specific feedback if it is not. You may always make adjustments based on the feedback and resubmit the TechTour.

Outcomes and Indicators

The Project Builder will display the Outcomes and State Indicators selected for this TechTour. Review these selections and make any necessary changes in Stage 1A.
