How to Disable Common Pop-Up Blockers

If you do not disable Pop-up Blocking, you are still permitted to log in to a Limited Functionality Mode ELC
In Limited Functionality Mode you are not able to use Chat and Instant Messaging.

In order to use Chat and Instant Messaging (IM) in the ELC, all Pop-up Blocking on your PC must be disabled.

This tutorial will help you to identify and disable Pop-up Blocking wherever found.  Remember that there are often many Pop-Up Blocking softwares running simultaneously.  It is also very likely that you did not knowingly install or activate them.  Once you have successfully identified and disabled a Pop-Up Blocker, click the RETEST button on the Pop-Up Blocker Detected Page.  If the "Welcome" screen appears, you have disabled all Pop-Up Blockers. If the "Pop-Up Blocker Detected!" page reappears, then you have more Pop-Up Blockers to identify and disable.  See step-by-step instructions below.

There are literally dozens of Pop-Up blocking software packages, so it is next to impossible to document the procedure for disabling each one.   Listed in the links below below are some of the more popular Pop-up Blocking software Packages that run in Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Netscape, and Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security.  Instructions with screenshots on how to disable them are provided.
