Candidates
in the FlexMAT and SIMAT programs of the Master
in Arts of Teaching have extensive opportunities
to apply what they are learning in courses through
field experience and internships. They majority
of these placements thake place in schools where
JHU has developing collaborative partnerships.

Partnerships with schools span a continuum from
new relationships to fully-developed Professional
Development Schools. In addition to working
with these schools to working with these schools
to expand the experience of our teacher candidates,
we are committed to serving as a link among
the schools to help identify resources and opportunities
for school improvement and professional development.
