Candidates
in the FlexMAT and SIMAT programs of the Master
of Arts in Teaching have extensive opportunities
to apply what they are learning in courses through
field experience and internships. The majority
of these placements are in schools where JHU
has developed collaborative partnerships. The
Partnership
and Professional Development Schools diagram
identifies the many schools with which we collaborate.
Partnerships with schools span a continuum from
new relationships to fully-developed Professional
Development Schools. In addition to working
with these schools to expand the experience
of our teacher candidates, we are committed
to serving as a link among the schools to help
identify resources and opportunities for improvement
and professional development.
