The MTC partners have established online courses for Maryland educators which enable them to develop skills and knowledge to improve instruction and student learning. These courses are based on professional development activities created and implemented by the consortium partners.
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) developed an online tutorial addressing Web-based Teaching Strategies. The school system also developed and published two modules for a course on differentiation, facilitated by an MCPS instructional technology specialist.
Johns Hopkins University developed online courses to support educators with improved classroom practices based on the Maryland Technology Academy curriculum.
