Assignments (e-mailed to the class discussion area):
Complete the required assignment and two other assignments
of your choice. Working in your designated groups, respond to two of
your groups' posted assignments.
- Required - Administer an appropriate assessment
to your students. Before administering the assessment, decide what
data you expect to gather and how will you us the data. Gather data
to use to plan for an upcoming instructional segment. Have the data
available for the next class. Rubric
- Analyze three to five assessments you've used recently
in class and reflect on:
a) why you selected the assessment,
b) the data each yielded,
c) how the data informed your subsequent instructional decisions,
and
d) how technology could be used to support organization of the data
(databases, graphing tools, etc.). Rubric
- Consider how you might incorporate technology into
some assessments you are planning to use with your students. Rubric
- Considering the case studies that you have read,
identify one new learning from them and how you will apply this in
your instructional program. Rubric
- Find a web-enabled lesson (webquest) and discuss
how you might use it to differentiate instruction. See the reading
