Class 5: Pulling it together
It is fairer and more accurate to look at readiness for a particular endeavor instead of using one skill to make a judgment about general ability. (Tomlinson, 1995, p.53)
In the previous classes, we have reviewed effective instruction, differentiation, on going assessment, and technology's role in each of these components. During this class, take time to review to the narratives posted by other students and the teacher from the previous classes. Pay special attention to the development of individuals, culminating in the response to assignment one of class four.
Using what you have learned, you will be able to develop a lesson that incorporates technology, while providing differentiation in content, product and/or process based on the assessment data gathered from your students.
