through the checklist below and ready your computer
accordingly. You will need:

reliable Internet connection - You should be able
to get online easily many times a day. It is to your
benefit to have a fast connection. DSL or cable modem
lines are preferred but not necessary.
Internet
Explorer (IE) or Netscape - See the specific PC
and Mac requirements below. Please note that if you
use AOL as your Internet service provider, you must
also have IE or Netscape in order to properly access
CTE's online courses.
Equipment Check you're syllabus as soon as
you have access to it, to see if there are any other technical
requirements not listed here that are necessary for your class.
