Strengthen Your Team

All of CTE's fully facilitated courses incorporate advanced cooperative learning strategies to enhance learning experiences and outcomes. In online courses, teaming allows students to feel connected to one another and offers a sense of partnership to the learning process. In fact, research confirms that students working online in groups perform better than students working online alone.

Team-based learning builds also adds an entire dimension of potential knowledge to an online course experience. Especially for adult learners, who often enter an online course with considerable knowledge accumulated through education, work, and life experience, team-based learning provides ways for students to share these experiences and to learn from one another's knowledge, as well as from the instructor and course materials. Additionally, many students feel that the relationships they forge in their groups become an invaluable professional resource long after their course has completed.
