Ancient Egypt Graphic

Ancient Egypt
This web site was created by two University of Richmond education students. It is full of information on Ancient Egypt: the land, the language, the Gods, the Pharaohs, the writing, and the pyramids.

Ancient Egypt
The site is divided into ten sections which address themes or topics relevant to ancient Egypt: Egyptian Life, Geography, Gods and Goddesses, Mummification, Pharaohs, Pyramids, Temples, Time, Trades, and Writing.

Ancient Egyptian and Nubian Art
There are pictures and descriptive text of a variety of artifacts of ancient Egyptian funerary art on this site.

Guardian's Egypt
These pages provide great pictures and information about Egypt, and offer many links to Egyptology and Egypt resources throughout the World Wide Web.

Mummies of Ancient Egypt
This site about mummies describes what they are, how they were made, who they were, and Egyptian beliefs about an afterlife. There is a table of hieroglyphs that displays the image, its meaning, and sound; a dateline of dates, dynasties, and rulers of Egyptian civilizations; and a glossary.

History
Horus, a cartoon bird, acts as the tour guide for this site. Selections on this history pages are Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic.
