“Free” Clip Art for Web Sites

Read the instructions for copyright information on each “free clip art” site before adding images from that site to your web pages. Sometimes this information is difficult to locate. Look for these keywords and phrases: Terms, Rules, Conditions for Free Use, Acceptable Use Policy and Disclaimer. Links to the terms are often found at the bottom of the home page.

Permission is granted to download no more than ten different clip art images for non-revenue-producing use on hard copy documents or on Web sites with the following restrictions: Any reproduction must be unaltered from its original downloaded form.
