Hosted by the University of Virginia, this site provides an overview of the history of special education, definitions of disabilities, and other related resources.  The site also provides support and ideas for disabled students, their parents, family, and friends as they adjust to the classroom setting. The Intervention Techniques section houses lots of effective teaching ideas.


Center for Applied Science Technology (CAST)

Indie, The Integrated Network of Disability Information and Education

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Technology
