Historian  (greatest level of difficulty)

Your job is to describe how the change you’re studying shaped or defined the American psyche, or way of thinking. Think about . . .
What motivated Americans to act the way they did?
What was important to Americans at this time?
What did Americans tend to do for work and for relaxation?
How did Americans tend to deal with problems?

What does the historical change reveal about American thoughts, beliefs and values?  How is the American Psyche, as you have defined it, reflected in the novel you are reading?

Write your findings in the form of a chapter from a high school history textbook the way you think history should be told.
