Membership Criteria

Students can advance through the ATHS membership levels (Candidate, Associate, and Scholar) by satisfying the designated criteria at each level. Initial membership is based on a student's potential to meet the criteria summarized below.

Technological Literacy -- Skill in the use of technology; the ability to apply knowledge, creativity, and resources to solve real world problems; and an understanding of the role of technology in our world.

Scholarship -- Above average academic performance, which is defined as a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a scale of 4.0  or equivalent standard of excellence.

Commitment to Service -- The use of technology to improve or benefit the school and/or community.

Leadership -- Independence, confidence, integrity, decision making skills, and initiative.
