As the Cartographer you are responsible for researching maps and then making one accurate physical map of Ancient Mesopotamia adding other important information you find during your research i.e. political info or natural resources.  You must also create one specialty map showing one specific piece of information.  Keep in mind that your physical map must have the following elements: A legend, compass rose, latitude and longitude lines and title with all features printed in black ink and using appropriate coloring.  Paper with map outline will be provided from museum funds.  You must also write a two paragraph description of the geography of the area as well as a paragraph about each of your maps.  Work with your team.  They may be able to help you with your task.  There are some obvious questions that you might ask yourself when researching.
*Has the geography of the land changed in the last 10,000 years?
*How do the rivers effect the geography?
*Has the climate changed in the last 10,000 years?
*What types of plants and animals existed then?
*Should they appear on my map?
