Content Standards:

European exploration and colonization of the Americas was predominately driven by economic expansion. It set off a collision of cultures that continues to define the United States as a nation of immigrants. The essential question researched from various perspectives is what social, economic, and political characteristics of different cultures combined to create distinct colonial regions?

Project Summary:

This is an example of the type of multimedia presentation students will create in cooperative groups after researching a specific perspective of an essential question to clarify the enduring understanding. It is first used as a means to cover content, and then used to evaluate presentations, oral and design.

Objectives/Desired Results (What will the learners understand as a result of this project?)
