Project Summary: This multi-media presentation is designed to teach students how to create an e-book that will demonstrate their understanding of the Freitag Model of Plot development. This presentation will be used as a tool to educate teachers on identifying the most appropriate application of multimedia technology with curricula. |

Objectives/Desired Results (What will the learners understand as a result of this project?) Using a novel of their teacher’s choice,
students will demonstrate their understanding of the Freitag Model of Plot
Development by creating an e-book. Students will compose an electronic book
using word processing software. Students will develop an effective multimedia
presentation as part of a project based learning activity. Plans for Facilitation: Students will make journal entries regarding
what they can do and what they need help with after completing a series of
introductory activities related to using the iMac Lab. Students will complete
an “All About Me” writing assignment and create a five slide Power Point
presentation that introduces them to other students. |

will be used by the students for self-evaluation. The teacher will also used
the tool to evaluate the project, however, the teacher will additionally
