Task 2- The Survey
1. Now that you have some ideas for the party,  you will design a survey that you will conduct with members of your community. Be sure to include at least three choices for each area: craft, snack, and game. Use may use Word to type and print your survey.

2. Interview at least seven students from each of the five classes in our community using your survey questions. Be sure to record your results. Use Word to create a chart to display the results of your survey. **

3. Using graph paper, create a bar graph to display the data from your survey. Be sure to include TAILS. (title, axis, increments, labels, spacing) **

4. Now it's time to analyze your bar graph. Make a choice as to which game, craft, and snack your community would like to have at the Fall Harvest Party. Write at least three sentences conveying the results. Type them under your chart. Print your chart.

Task 3- Let's Go Shopping
1. Time to go shopping. Your budget is $100. You must buy enough goods for every student in your community to participate in the party. If the store does not sell your good, see you teacher for a complete price list or check the off-line store circulars. Click the store below to go shopping. (For extra practice with money, you may work on the "Making Sense of Money" program on the local drive.)

2. Use Word to create a chart to display your shopping list. Be sure to include the item, quantity, price, and grand total. Print your shopping list. **

Task 4- The Schedule
1. Now your team needs to plan time for each activity at your party. Don't forget you need to plan time for the game, the craft, and the snack. You may plan for up to two hours. When you are planning the times, think about set-up time, distribution of materials, amount of time to complete activity, and clean-up.  (For extra practice with time, you may work on the "It's About Time" program on the local drive.)

2. Use Word to display your party schedule. Print your schedule. **

Task 5- The Presentation
1. Now that your team's party is planned and goods are chosen, you need to present your ideas to the rest of the community. Use Power Point to design a presentation about your party. Be sure to include information from this task in your presentation. You must have a minimum of five slides in your presentation. (For extra help with using Power Point, go to tutorial.) Be sure to team evaluate your project on the evaluation page.
