There are five Native American regions:  Northeast Woodlands, Southwest, Plains,  Southeast, and California-intermountain.  You will choose one region to live in that you don't have very much prior knowledge about.  Once you are living in the region you will be immersed in the region, learning about the: habitat, clothing, food, religious customs, and tribes. However, the white men will come and invade your region! Oh no!  How will that change your culture?  You will write a letter to a friend in another reservation expressing your attitude about the white men changing your culture.

• First, we will all take a  pre assessment to see which Native American culture you know the least about. It is then advised that you pick that culture to research.
•  As a group of 3-4 you will research the following parts of your culture:

• OH No! The white men have invaded your reservation!  Your group will identify exactly how the white men have changed your culture.
• Finally, a letter will be written to a friend in a neighboring reservation expressing your attitude about the white men changing your culture.
