Content
Speaker gives a complete 
presentation that covers the
pre-established requirements 
of the task.  Speaker may

Speaker gives mostly complete presentation that covers most of the requirements of the task.  Speaker makes an effort to illustrate empathy and understanding of the character. Speaker gives an in-

Organization
The presentation is given in an 
organized fashion, and the in-
formation reflected planning and thoughtful research of resources.
Details and examples of defining events were given in context to illustrate points.
The presentation has some organizational plan which may lack control but does indicate some planning and research of resources.  Details and examples of defining events
may lack context in which to illustrate points.
The presentation may lack a discernible plan or fail to indicate research of resources.  Details and examples of defining events lack context with which to illustrate points.
Knowledge 
Speaker demonstrates an accurate knowledge of the material, and speaks with authority on the topic.  Speaker demonstrates synthesis of material through insightful comments and rich details. Speaker demonstrates some accuracy of knowledge of the material, and speaks with some confidence on the topic.  Speaker shows some synthesis of material with occasional insightful comments or details. Speaker's presentation lacks accuracy of knowledge of the material, or does not speak with authority or confidence on the topic.  Presentation fails to show synthesis of material.
 
Voice, Posture, and Language
Presenter is poised and confident.  Voice is clear to audience, and posture is straight, with no swaying.  Hands are still.  Speaker observes language conventions in keeping with a formal presentation. Presenter is somewhat poised and calm.  Voice is fairly clear and posture is for the most part straight and still.  Few breaks in language conventions are noted. Presenter lacks poise or confidence.  Voice is too low and/or posture is lacking.  Problems with language conventions cause problems in formal presentation.
