Stratus clouds as you can see cover most of the sky. They often form a blanket over the whole sky. They are low in the sky. These clouds are thin and you can sometimes see the sun or the moon shining behind it. Fog is a stratus cloud that is touching the ground. Back to Top |

Cirrus clouds are high in the sky and are often wispy looking. Sometimes they look like hair blowing in the wind. They are very thin and can curl up on the ends. They are so thin you almost look blue because the sky is reflecting off the cloud. Back to Top |
