Using what you learn from the selected websites in the resource bank, you are to write a monologue that is at least one page long, all from Cotton Mather's point of view. You must include the following (as a minimum):
1. Details about his family, his home, and his role in the village.
2. His views on the trials.
3. His role in the trials.
4. His beliefs as a Puritan minister.
5. (this involves inferences!) His thoughts and reflections on the
final outcome of his trial.
This monologue will be due at the start of the next class so you'll have to work efficiently. The monologue will be graded out of 25 points. Use the graphic organizer provided at the start of class for notetaking. It will be worth an additional 15 points when complete.
