Cotton Mather was the most prominent New England minster at the time of the trials.    Your job will be to examine the specific websites included in the resource bank in order to gain an understanding of Cotton Mather as he is recorded historically.  This is potentially different than how he is (or is not)  depicted in Miller's play.  Your job will be to take on his voice and write from his point of view about the trials and his eventual fate.
