Journal Assignment

You are responsible for documenting some of the experiences which make up the action of the text from the view point of one of either Frederic, Catherine, or Rinaldo. You may choose either of the characters to follow for the length of the journal/diary.  For each of the five chapter reading assignments, write a diary entry as if YOU were the character experiencing the events.  Each of the entries needs to be about one page in length. DO NOT summarize the events; instead, you are to develop the character's voice.  Furthermore, you will also want to create a journal that looks as if it was a possession of this character throughout the events of the novel.  Authenticity counts!

This assignment is worth a possible 30 points.
