While you read, you should continuously picture images of the story in your mind. This is one of the most powerful aspects of Hemmingway's prose.  However, in order for you to read effectively and REMEMBER this novel, you need to have some means of recalling moments of its action.  One of the easiest ways to do this is to form MENTAL IMAGES.

As you read, what do you see in your mind?

You have two options for completing this task:

1.  Use your creativity and imagination to come up with 2 thumbnail sketches for each of the grouped chapter assignments of the text for a total of approximately 10 pictures.  These are meant to provide the minimum amount of detail needed to trigger your memory.  For example, below is a "thumbnail" of Huckleberry Finn.

2.  Use your creativity and imagination to develop 4 very detailed and well crafted illustrations of specific scenes or moments of action in the text.  Here, I am looking for substantial development and craft.

This project will be worth a possible 25 points.
