Your
assignment for this task will be to create a word splash using essential
terms from specific chapters in A Farewell to Arms. Assume
that this will be used with the next class of students who work with this
text in this class. The word splash will be used as an introductory
activity where students consider why the words you select are key to the
story they are about to read.
1.
On a blank sheet of clean, non-lined paper, write at least 20 words from
the novel. Use various fonts for the words and scatter the words
around the page at numerous angles.
2.
You also will need to write a “teacher’s guide” which:
- defines the terms
- explains how these words are meaningful and integral to understanding
this text
- explains your approach and thinking behind the selection of the
featured words.
This
project will be worth 25 possible points.
