I.  After receiving your team assignment,  you must first develop as a team both your action plan
and your visual designboard.
II.  Now, you'll move to the actual construction of your designed exhibit. The resources section of
this webquest has a series of sectioned sites that will aid in this process.

          A.   Begin by exploring and evaluating the selected virtual exhibits.

What design elements are effective? What presentation is ineffective?
What is the effective balance between text, visuals, and sound?
How does design work with the content to produce an effective and educational exhibit?
Is this an interactive site?  What makes it so?

Refer to this rubric to further assess these sites.

             B.   Now that you are beginning to have a sense of what it is that you'll be
creating, use the resources for web page design for assistance in making it
all happen visually.  Remember to follow copyright law!  (Click here for
copyright law.)  Required components are listed within the task page.

             C.   As you've come to expect in this class, journal prompts are required.
Click on the dates below for the corresponding prompt.

    Journal  One
    Journal Two
    Journal Three
    Journal Four
    Journal  Five

             D.  Teams will conference with the director of the museum on each of the
product construction dates.   Be prepared to discuss and validate where
you are in your work, problems that you cannot seem to get your mind
around, etc.  Conferences will be held regardless of absences!
              E.  Each member of the team is required to post at least two messages on the
class discussion boardwithin the course of your work on this project.
This will be the main vehicle of communication between you and the other
teams, as well.  The director of the museum will be in communication with
                    you as well.
