Ah, now you have completed your definition of identity, and you have created a list of items that make up your idea of "self."  The next step is to creatively express these ideas in words.

The Assignment:

•     Read all of the instructions before you begin.
•     You will create two poems.
•     Poem 1 will be either an "I Am" poem or "BioPoem"
• Formats
• "I Am"
• "BioPoem"

•  Poem 2 may be any poetic form you wish.
• Read the samples from the Poetry Format Page or from the Resource Page
• Choose a pattern you like.
• Personalize it!
• Follow all parts of the writing process as you draft.  Your prewriting and drafts will be due with the final version of your poems.
