WebQuest |
Introduction | Task | Process | Resources | Evaluation | Conclusion
1. First, we will need to do an evaluation of school websites that already exist on the Internet. This important work will be done by the Expert Researchers Team. Click here to go to the Expert Researchers Page for directions and resources to complete the evaluations.
2. The Expert Survey Team will conduct a survey of the school community to be ready to be a resource for the technicians as they do the work of creating the website. They will be responsible for the content of the website. Click here for directions and resources for creating and conducting the survey.
3. The Expert Technicians Team will be responsible for the technical work of creating the website. Click here for design helps and resources to help you create the website.
School websites to study:
* Hot Topic List of school websites
* Web66: International School Web
Site Registry
This site is a wonderful resource
for viewing school websites by geographical
area. This would be an excellent source of school web sites
* Question list for Resource team
You will be using the same evaluation rubric for our website that we used for the sites evaluated at the beginning of the WebQuest before uploading the website to the Internet.
Congratulations! You have created a wonderful, well-designed website for our school community. Good news.............now that we've completed the website, the real fun and the real work of having an active, alive presence on the Internet begins. You will have to work hard to maintain the website so that it becomes a working, active site that will allow us to share our work, activities and successes with others in our school community and those in the wider community of the Internet.
