Expert Researchers' Page

The task of the research team will be to research existing school websites on the Internet and report back to the technicians group. You will need to be prepared to make recommendations about things that have worked well on other websites. Be prepared to give warnings about things that didn't seem to work well. Summarize your discoveries in a word processing document.

What you will need to do:

1. Look at and evaluate as many websites as possible. Use the HotList in the resource section. use the rubric to evaluate each website you choose.

2. You should be sitting with the other members of your team as you do the evaluations because it is important that you help each other gain insights that will help you when you create the website for your school.

3. Completing the rubric is important but it is also important that you answer a set of questions about each website. This will give you a better feel for each website than using the rubric alone.
