Grading
-
Save all of your paper until the end
of the quarter. In case there is a mistake on the computer. If there is
a difference between what the computer has and the grade you received,
just show me the graded paper and I will fix the mistake.
-
If I marked something wrong and it
is correct- Please tell me and I will give you credit for it
-
If I did not mark something wrong that
is wrong, it is my mistake. You get credit for the answer since it is my
fault. There is no need to tell me about it.
-
A check mark by an answer means that
it is correct
-
An X by an answer means that it is
wrong.
-
The total number wrong is circled at
the top of the paper.
The number that you got correct
is above the total number possible. They are both circled.
Example
17
20
How to Calculate your grade on a
paper.
Take the top number (the numerator)
and divide by the bottom number (the denominator), then multiply by 100.
Example: If you received 17 points
out of 20.
17
20
Your grade is
17 ÷ 20 = 0.85
0.85 x 100 = 85%
You grade on this assignment would
be an 85%
