· 3-5 minute presentation
· Provide at least one visual aid. See me if you
need materials. Ideas: handouts, overhead transparency, poster, live
animal (with approval of teacher), model, pictures, etc…
What to Include in your Presentation…
1. Explain the habitat of the animal. What part
of the world is it found? Describe the climate conditions.
2. Explain the niche of the animal. The niche is
the role it plays in its environment. Ex: owls help control the rodent
population.
3. Describe the average life span of the animal.
4. Explain who the close relatives to your animal are.
5. Any other interesting, fun facts you may think that
are beneficial. Ideas: what phylum or kingdom does it belong to?
