Like the judge, the jury may only convene once or twice during the school
year.
However, jury members are very important in making sure that justice
rules in our classroom.
If a case is brought to our classroom court, it is your job to listen,
impartially, to
both sides of the case taking into account all arguements, witness
testimony, and evidence.
One of our jurors will serve as the foreperson, leading the jurors
through a discussion of
the evidence and testimony. The jurors decide the guilt or innocence
of the defendent.
