The Office Of
Lawyer
Being a lawyer is an important and rewarding position in our classroom.
If you become a lawyer, your classmates may hire you to represent
them in a
classroom court case. You have a large duty to your client/s
and especially since they will
be paying you with our classroom currency, you will have "outside
of class" responsibilities.
You will be in charge of finding and interviewing witnesses that
will testify on your
client's behalf. You will meet with your client to develop
the case and your
arguments. While in court, you will need to be respectful
of the judge and the
witnesses. You will also need to follow the courtroom procedures.
You will need :
an opening argument
questions and rebuttal for all witnesses
a closing argument
