YOU ARE PART OF THE CHANNEL 9 NEWS TEAM.  YOU AND YOUR PARTNER HAVE  GRACIOUSLY AGREED  TO GO TO CHESAPEAKE HIGH SCHOOL TO TEACH A LESSON ON A PARTICULAR ASPECT OF MEDIA PRODUCTION.   IN PREPARATION, YOU  PLAN ON USING VARIOUS RESOURCES TO DESIGN YOUR CLASS PRESENTATION. 

TASK AND PRODUCT

YOU AND YOUR PARTNER DECIDE TO RESEARCH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS USING THE RESOURCES FOUND ON THE COUGARS' DIGITAL MEDIA CENTER. 
1.  WHAT ARE THE MOST CHALLENGING AND REWARDING ASPECTS OF A PRODUCER'S  AND / OR DIRECTOR'S JOB?

5.  TECHNICAL JOBS SUCH AS CAMERA, AUDIO, LIGHTING, EDITING AND SET BUILDING ARE BEHIND THE SCENES BUT CRITICAL TO THE PRODUCTION.  CHOOSE ONE OF THESE JOBS.  IN A TECHNICAL POSITION, WHAT COULD YOU DO TO INSURE A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM?
6.  CREATE AN IMAGE IN YOUR MIND OF A SUCCESSFUL MEDIA PRODUCTION PROJECT BEING CARRIED OUT.  CONSIDER ALL THE  ELEMENTS OF THE SCENE. WHAT ARE
THE GROUND RULES EACH MEMBER WOULD NEED TO FOLLOW TO MAKE THAT IMAGE A REALITY?
 

THEN PRESENT YOUR INFORMATION TO THE REST OF THE TEAM USING AN ORAL PRESENTATION WITH HANDOUTS,  A POWER POINT PRESENTATION OR A VIDEO.  SAVE YOUR WORK ON THE NETWORK.
